Vishnugarh Worker Struggling for Treatment in Dubai, Appeals to Indian Government for Help
In a video shared on social media, Dashrath has made an emotional appeal to both the central and state governments of India for immediate assistance. He revealed that on September 6, 2025, he sustained a serious eye injury while working for Shaanxi Construction Engineering Group Company in Dubai. Since the incident, the company has neither provided him medical treatment nor paid his salary, leaving him in a desperate situation.
Dashrath is the sole breadwinner of his family, which includes his elderly parents, wife, and three children — Vijay Kumar (17), Ajay Kumar (15), and Pummy Kumari (13). Due to his current condition, the family back home is struggling financially. The children's education has been affected, and the family is also facing a shortage of essential supplies, including food.
His relatives have urged both the Jharkhand government and the Government of India to intervene, ensure his proper medical treatment, and help recover his due insurance and salary benefits from the company.
“People are forced to leave their homes to earn a living, and many face unimaginable hardships abroad. The government must take strong measures to ensure the safety and rights of migrant workers,”
— Sikandar Ali, Social Worker
