Mobile Addiction: A Growing Threat to Children

A five-year-old girl from my relative’s family had been watching videos on a mobile phone for almost four continuous hours. What surprised me even more was that her parents did not say a single word to stop her or even try to interrupt her. When it was time for her to go to school, she began making excuses and refused to go. After having lunch, instead of studying or playing, she once again picked up the mobile and started watching reels endlessly. An old lady of the house, noticing all this, softly remarked that this habit could spoil the child and that it was not good for her future.
